The building consists of an assembly plant and an office building that was completed in 2018, and a 5,000 square metres composite plant which was inaugurated in 2019.
Over the past 8 years, the company has been awarded numerous prizes for its products and activities. In 2016, the company was awarded the Innovation Prize at one of the most prestigious European aerospace industry exhibitions for its outstanding achievement in electric aviation. In addition, it has won several innovation awards in Europe and Hungary, and a US Product Award.
The company’s iconic product, Fusion, is a two-seater, single engine, ultralight and light sport aircraft combines the advantages of flying. Thanks to the unique characteristics of the aircraft, the type has deliberate stall and basic aerobatic capabilities. This makes more specific aspects of pilot training available to users. During UPRT training, the aircraft driver exercises control of the aircraft in unusual, critical flight situations and eliminates the resulting emergency and risk. With a cruising speed of over 200 km/h and a range of almost 1000 km, it is a popular choice for hobby and business customers who want to go hiking and travelling. The wide cabin provides comfort for trips of up to 4-5 hours. Thanks to its low fuel consumption (13-20 L/h – RON 95) and easy operation, the aircraft costs are very low, it can be used for up to 40-45 EUR/hour, and its includes a built-in recovery system too. Fusion aircraft holds certifications throughout Europe, Africa, the USA, and Asia.
The company’s other product, Fusion Sentinel, can be equipped with optional accessories of which the surveillance camera system is a permanent feature. The device enables the surveillance of agricultural livestock and wildlife, the completion of aerial missions for defence and military support purposes such as search and reconnaissance. Together with an innovative modular deployable container system, Fusion Sentinel aircraft can also provide solutions for disaster management, border protection and emergency medical services.
The company’s new aircraft model, Fusion 213 is an enhanced member of the Fusion product family line. This model will be the main product to be manufactured on the assembly line once test flights are completed and its EASA certification is granted to meet pre-orders.
In addition to its two-seater aircraft, Magnus Aircraft has started to develop its larger product, based on the old type of a 4-seater aircraft, which it purchased the licence in 2019. The modernisation of the new type into a composite version is currently ongoing and will be launched under the name Magnus Fellower. The modernisation will make the Magnus Fellower stand out on the market forits multifunctionality, spacious interior, modern instrument panel and low maintenance costs. The new product will offer favourable cruising speeds and a first-class operating range, all at a competitive market price. The redesign phase is now complete and the first prototype is under construction.
In addition to developing its products, Magnus Aircraft also develops its markets and constantly expands. Members of Magnus Group can be found in many countries such as the United States, Asia, Africa and the Middle East region. One of the most important milestones of the international expansion was on 11 November 2024, when Magnus Aircraft opened its first international showroom in Wuxi, China.
